Best Stethoscopes | Top 5 Stethoscope Reviews

#1.3M Littmann Master Cardiology Stethoscope

Littmann is known to give customers reliability and efficiency in its products and what I can really tell about 3M Littmann Master Cardiology Stethoscope is that it’s a Pro. It has no match with other scopes that come under this price range or below. I owned Littmann Classic III, Lightweight II S.E. and other high priced Scopes in the past but Master cardiology is what one need for a “Critical Auscultation”. It is specifically designed for precision and possesses potential acoustic abilities. Earlier, the scopes that I had, served me well but always lagged sensitivity to soft bruits, burbles and to deliver better acoustic response.

#2.MDF Instruments MD One

MD one is a potent professional Medical equipment. I bought this around a month ago and I am totally satisfied with it. It delivers all the features and functions that it promises to deliver. Being a Physician for about 10 years now, I’ve always been cautious about stethoscopes that I use, as chest auscultation plays an integral and vital role in my diagnoses. A malfunctioning stethoscope can undermine your skill and thus prevent you from making accurate analysis. But I am glad that MD one didn’t disappoint me and was worth my spending.

#3.3M Littmann Lightweight II S.E. Stethoscope

3M Littmann Lightweight II S.E. is a must buy for those who are looking for having a traditional Stethoscope to serve their general purposes as it is not cardiac specific. Being an EMT-Intermediate, my range of use is limited only to the BPs and lung sounds and the Lightweight laced with a tunable and sensitive diaphragm makes me hear even the small murmurs and bruits too. The acoustic quality that it offers is amazing and the base of my review here is the Cost Price that it bears.

#4.ADC ADSCOPE-Lite 609 Clinician Stethoscope

I have owned many Littmanns and other high price brands, but what very disturbing for me all the time was the loss of good money due to just some accidental breakdown issues or the product became less potent over time. So I decided not to invest high money on scopes as being an EMT, I only perform general assessments most of the time. I bought this ADC ADSCOPE-Lite 609, influenced by the price tag that it offers and the positive reviews it had from the old customers and to my surprise, ADSCOPE- Lite 609 has performed better to my expectations. Though, I wasn’t sure about the color initially but they look pretty cool.

#5.Omron Sprague Rappaport Stethoscope

Omron Sprague Rappaport stethoscope is a fairly decent stethoscope on its own for students, practitioners and for the physicians as it’s easy to handle, effective product with a very low price tag and easy to own. There are a lot of choices for scopes that the market has to offer these days, so it’s difficult to find a product that values your money. Being a low priced scope, one can easily give Sprague Rappaport a try (and I recommend, you should). But don’t let the low price tag fool you, it possesses fairly decent acoustic skills.

Guide To Nursing Newbies: Choosing The Right Stethoscope

Being a nurse can be a truly hard feat to do as it will require you to sacrifice your sleep, as well as cater your patient to the degree of their highest content. And even before the actual job, the college course itself is demanding and it would really take a good chunk of your rest and academic excellence. As people do not realize this, those catchy white nurse apparel are not just for bragging reasons, they also appeal to some type entitlement for one of the hardest courses out there to take.

One of the basics of being a nurse is that you should really be aware and conscious of the equipment and tools for the job. One of the most important out there is the stethoscope. This piece of product is used to verify a person’s heartbeat and judge its condition if it is healthy or not. But the problem here now is that there are variations of this product that are not the best in fit. So now you may be really confused and crazed on what to choose? And so to help you all out, here are tips on how to choose the best stethoscope.

The Brand – The firs thing that you should do is to research for the brand and discern what particular brand you are going to choose. Is this something that can be just optional? No it is not because investing in a certain brand can mean the particular product to choose from. In order for you to know the brand, research must be done. It means that you need to ask for recommendations from the professionals in the medical field. Moreover you have search online for reviews from people on what they see on the brand. Once you chosen the particular one, you can then proceed on the actual product.

Product Specs – For one thing, the Chestpiece must be really be made of stainless steel or any other materials that will not rust. Why is this so? It is because having a metallic chestpiece might result to it rusting and make its usability greatly diminish. The functioning may not be the same if the condition would deteriorate. Next, the earpiece must have a fifteen degree bend point. Why is this so? This is to create an easy nestling to the ear once the piece will be plugged in. Also make sure that the force of the piece will not be too strong to not make any sudden impact to your ears. And for the tubing, strong hold should be observed as to not make the product bend easily.

You see one needs to become observant of the product so that nothing will come as a dismay. You need to be meticulous on every spec and feature of the product. A little time and effort in researching will not do you any harm. Once you will follow these guidelines, you can finally buy the right the stethoscope. So what are you waiting for? Buy now and watch the investment take its use.
